Transcribed from back of photo: "There were bands, Drum and Bugle Corps, Color Guards and plenty of High Stepping Majorettes in the hour-long, colorful parade through downtown Indianapolis that preceded the cornerstone laying of the ne National Home of The American Legion. The standards of 30 Departments, shipped to Indianapolis, were carried in the parade.
