Washington (15 September 1951). National Commander George N. Craig, Brazil, Indiana, attorney, turns bricklayer to seal the cornerstone of the American Legion's new Washington branch headquarters at 1608 K Street N.W., Washington, D.C. Craig did the honors at an impressive ceremony on September 15, witnessed by more than 600 Legionnaires and friends all over the country.
