Description
Washington, June 26 [1949] -- Architect's drawing of 7-story American Legion branch headquartersbuilding to be erected in Washington, D.C. Plans for the new structure, designed to provide facilities for an expanded veterans' rehabilitation program, were announced by Legion National Commander Perry Brown today. Work is expected to commence this summer on the building, which will repalce present Legion quarters at 1608 K Street, N.W.
