Description
Badge commemorating the 17th National Convention held on Sept. 23rd-26th, 1935 in St. Louis, MO. The nameplate reads "St. Louis, MO Birthplace of the American Legion." The front of the badge has the American Legion emblem and an inscription that reads, "In Honor of the men who at the Saint Louis caucus May 1919 founded the American Legion." The back of the badge commemorates the convention. The ribbon colors include blue in the center bordered by red, yellow, green, light and dark blue, and olive green.
