Description

Pattern 1912 Winter Service Coat - The olive-drab wool coat is single breasted with five removable bronze general service buttons in front. The buttons were a new pattern of bronze metal with a rimmed edge and lines behind the U.S. coat of arms. In addition the coat had a standing collar and shoulder loops. This coat was originally owned by George Gardner Meeske, Sr. and donated to the Emil A. Blackmore museum by his daughter-in-law in 1993.
